Finally.

My laptop has been out forever now. I had to take it in to get fixed and apparently it had many problems. My wireless is unfortunately still not working so I am plugged into our internet directly right now.

Updates:

My Collard/Prescott/Steele family is amazing! Of course my family is pretty bomb too. Dinner time is split between Cody’s house and my house now. He is pretty much addicted to my mom’s cooking I think. Which is ok because I’m addicted to his mom’s banana bread and the watermelon that always seems to be in the fridge. He attended his first filipino party that was at my house, and he fit right in and although I’m sure he does not remember even 1/2 those peoples names he seemed to have fun.

My mom has hired him for the next few weeks to bring in our mail and take out our garbage Sunday nights. Travel starts on Friday and we will be home an average of about 3-4 days per week for the next few weeks. San Diego, Maryland, Lake Tahoe. I’m excited. I have never been to San Diego, but my brother is going to Comic Con. So my mom and I decided to tag along so we can lay out on the beach. As for Maryland, I haven’t gone there in forever! I get to see my 2nd family that I have had since I was a toddler! (The good days living in Syracuse!). Trip number 2 to Lake Tahoe this summer! I get to see Dana for a few more days than last time. My whole family.. including my dad are going.. plus my aunt. I’m super excited for whitewater rafting! We haven’t gone in the longest time and it is one of my favorite things when we actually go! Next to waverunners and swimming in the Caribbean.

Well the battery on my laptop is low.. and the power cord I had bought to replace my broken one I was told was the wrong one for my laptop so I am waiting on a new one! Until then… Happy dreams! Peace out!

TheBox.

So tonight I went with my best friend Kimmy to her coworker Steve’s Birthday BBQ.  Let me say that was just way too much fun. I laughed for probably a good few hours straight. With Kimmy being the bartender and creating her VK’s and PK’s with like 9 different versions. I don’t even know. To us being in the Box and our special finger promises (thumb, middle, and pinky).  The star with the Gemini.. Shawn’s sign. Ice Cream Paint Job song just created an endless amount of laughs.. cream on the inside. Our party underneath the counter. Ben Gardener observing our conversations around the hookah even though you can’t observe conversations it’s more of listening in. Too many sexual innuendos were used tonight that I couldn’t even keep track of all of them. I became the crazy asian that answers Kimmy’s cell when she doesn’t want to answer. I have assumed the persona Tokai.. after the sake that was there. That sake’s description in itself was a couple good laughs. I wish I had thought of bringing out my camera for tonight. It would have made for some great memories.  Well it’s definitely time for sleep. Happy dreams! Peace.

I got my hair dyed today. A little more red than the last time I went. I love it. My mom said it looks like I’m copying her hair color. But I’m really not.. my mom’s hair is more brown while mine is going more red. But they look similar. It’s ok I love my mom’s hair it’s cute. I’m super excited. My mom bought a book at Costco that’s called 60 trails within 60 miles of Salt Lake City. I can’t wait to go on more hikes. I love that natural high I get from working out and being active. It’s addicting and soo much better than other things you can get addicted to.  Who wouldn’t want to see the gorgeous views that mother nature has to offer us? Utah is such an amazing place to live. There is literally everything here for any outdoors person to do.  Donut Falls is definitely one of my favorites.   I want to do Mount Olympus but it is pretty much a hike through the sun and with this crazy heat we’ve been having I’d rather not. Maybe an early fall hike when it’s cooled down.  Anyways, I’m waiting for Cody to be off work so that we can hang out.  Tonight I am going to a barbeque with my best friend Kimmy around 8pm. I promised Cody we’d hang out before I head downtown. He was suppose to be off about 30 minutes ago but he is a little held up. So I threw in a load of laundry while I wait. Figure I should do my chore that my mom told me to do the other day.  Well I am starving at the moment and am going to grab myself something to eat. It’s been way too long since the last time I ate today. I always get joked on by everyone I know because of how often I eat. Literally hungry every 1 1/2hrs. But I do work out so it evens out and not all of them are full on meals. I’m more of the small portions more often than 3 large meals. Besides it keeps my metabolism up :-) Peace!

Climbed&Conquered

So we ended up getting our cars washed first then going on a hike. Well it was like 1/4 hike and 3/4 climbing. A lot of the surrounding rocks slide down making getting up to the actual falls much harder. So Cody & I made our own trail by rock climbing up one side that was almost vertical and then traversing over to the falls. It was a way fun adventure.. and showed how well we can work together because it took a lot of teamwork to get to the falls. There was an easier route but we wanted to have some fun and it definitely was worth it. Well ok not the scratches I have all over my body and the few mosquito bites I ended up with. But it definitely was the highlight of my day to go on a fun hike with my boyfriend. But now I am exhausted and going to crash. Tomorrow will be a new adventure. We will see what happens with the day. I’ve pretty much just have bringing Cody some gas money at his work on my way to getting my hair colored! I love getting my hair done. There’s nothing better than getting my hair professionally done. Much better than I can ever do it. Happydreams. Peace!

Locator.Dogs.Bed

This is a new venture for me. But I’m sitting on my bed watching the Locator with my two dogs laying with me. I’m waiting for my boyfriend to come over here so we can go on a hike. I’ve been dying to go but it’s been extremely hot outside that I dread having to be outside. So I haven’t gone yet. Today I have decided to get over the heat issue and just go on a hike. It’s at least cooler in the mountains than out here in the valley. However, I just got a text from my boyfriend that said he just wrecked his scooter so I don’t know if this plan will still be taking place. That’s upsetting. He is obviously ok since he is texting me. But apparently he is trying to fix the scooter so that means the hiking plan will have to be put off. So that is definitely upsetting for me because summer is 1/2 way thru and I have yet to go hiking around here. I’ve gone by Lake Tahoe with my friend. That was way fun. Beautiful. Well guess this is to be continued. I have to go sit on the scooter. :-)
